About

C.G. RYAN - Media Art + Performance Design

C.G. RYAN is a media artist and designer creating experiences in performance, theatre, live AV, music visuals, and XR media.

A Los Angeles native, C.G. now lives and works in Columbus, Ohio. She holds a BFA in Design from ArtCenter College of Design. in Pasadena, and earned her MFA in New Media at CCAD in 2020, where she focused on empathy-building projects in VR, Installation, and Augmented Reality.

C.G. collaborates with directors and creative teams to produce award-winning theatrical shows and event, including the BroadWay World Columbus Award for BEST SCENIC DESIGN for her projection design and music video work for AMERICAN IDIOT (rock musical). C.G. was selected for the Fuse Factory 2025 Artist Residency, producing and creating four experiemental media performances. Her XR work received the Ohio Arts Council’s Individual Excellence Award in 2023.
