AV COLOURS

The Fuse Factory invited sound artist LAURA FEATHERS (NYC) and media artist C.G. RYAN to collaborate to create an original work and perform it at Frequency Fridays, their sonic-visual digital arts showcase series.

The concept of the color spectrum was decided on to allow sound and visuals to be developed separately, then as a connection when adding an improv dance element by AL DiLORENZO, artist. The three met both remotely and in-person. 

Mural ReMix (Digital Arts Collective) was invited to provide projection mapping for the performance, using Al’s vision of “violating the rectangle” and using the larger space as a projection surface, allowing for a fully immersive experience.
