COLLABORATION PROCESS
Musician GERARD COX and media artist C.G. RYAN were selected for the 2025 Fuse Factory Artist Residency.
Gerard and C.G. conceived of a series of four shows, each with a different theme and musical and visual approach.
CHAOS THEORY was designed to showcase jazz improv. Gerard selected and directed eight musicians to create an exciting tension between the expected and surprise. C.G. created visual media that layered conceptual imagery with hand-drawn digital illustrations modified in real time to play with the jazz improv ensemble.
